SummerSlam Predictions: The Spotlight Crew Makes Their Picks for Both Nights

It all comes down to this! The championship is on the line for our last PLE of the season, and will Jeremy retain the title, or is a new champion lurking?

SummerSlam is here, and the Squared Circle Spotlight crew has officially locked in their predictions for both nights of WWE’s biggest event of the summer. While everyone agrees on a few major matches, several championship bouts and bonus questions have the panel divided, making this one of our toughest prediction contests yet.

Night 1 Predictions

Night 1 features three unanimous picks, as every member of the panel is backing CM Punk, Oba Femi, and Gunther to pick up victories.

The biggest disagreement comes in the Women’s Championship match. Joe is the lone panelist sticking with Iyo Sky, while Kathy, Charlie, and Jeremy all believe Liv Morgan leaves SummerSlam with the title.

The six-person tag also has the panel split. Joe is taking LA Knight, Solo Sikoa & Royce Keys, while everyone else is riding with The Bloodline.

Charlie is once again the wildcard in the women’s tag match, picking The Bellas & Paige, while the rest of the crew believes Fatal Influence gets the win.

Night 2 Predictions

Night 2 is where things really get interesting.

Three of the four panelists believe Roman Reigns successfully retains the World Heavyweight Championship, while Kathy is the lone member backing Seth Rollins.

The Interim Women’s Championship Ladder Match has no clear favorite. Joe and Kathy are backing Chelsea Green, while Charlie and Jeremy are riding with Charlotte Flair.

The No. 1 Contender’s Match sees Joe and Jeremy siding with Finn Bálor, while Kathy and Charlie are backing Sami Zayn.

The United States Championship is split evenly between Baron Corbin and Trick Williams, while the Intercontinental Championship is another close call with three panelists predicting Chad Gable dethrones Penta.
