Night of Champions delivered a fun night of wrestling, featuring several standout performances, a few matches that exceeded expectations, and one incredible main event. Here’s how the Squared Circle Spotlight crew rated each match on our 5 Spotlight Scale.

Cody Rhodes vs. Sami Zayn vs. Gunther

⭐⭐⭐⭐½ (4.5 Spotlights)

The Match of the Night. Cody, Sami, and Gunther put on an outstanding Triple Threat that combined hard-hitting action, great pacing, and plenty of drama. Every competitor had opportunities to shine, making this one of WWE’s best matches of the year so far.

Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker

⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4 Spotlights)

Exactly what we hoped it would be. Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker delivered a physical, fast-paced battle that showcased Bron’s continued rise while reminding everyone why Seth remains one of the best big-match performers in wrestling.

Oba Femi vs. Jey Uso

⭐⭐⭐ (3 Spotlights)

A solid contest that delivered some entertaining moments without ever reaching another level. Oba continues to look like a future cornerstone, while Jey once again proved why he’s one of WWE’s most popular stars.

Liv Morgan vs. Iyo Sky

⭐⭐⭐ (3 Spotlights)

Another good match that kept the crowd invested throughout. Iyo Sky continues to impress every time she steps into the ring, and Liv held up her end to make this a quality championship bout.

Trick Williams vs. Ricky Saints

⭐⭐½ (2.5 Spotlights)

A respectable match, but one that never quite got out of second gear. There was nothing wrong with it, but it felt more like a bridge to future storylines than a must-see encounter.

Jade Cargill vs. Tiffany Stratton

⭐⭐ (2 Spotlights)

The weakest match of the evening. While both competitors have tremendous upside, this one never found its rhythm and ultimately felt underwhelming compared to the rest of the card. These two seem to lack the in-ring chemistry that could create a great match.

Final Thoughts

Night of Champions was another enjoyable WWE Premium Live Event, anchored by an outstanding Triple Threat main event and an excellent showdown between Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker. While not every match hit the same level, the show delivered enough memorable moments to make it well worth watching.
